In the music industry there are not many that learn to pave their own way. It is a cut throat business that can make you or break you. Yet when you combine talent and the strength of family your chances are much greater to succeed. Dean Vali and the Vali family are one such example of perseverance.

Since Dean was a young boy he was always surrounded with the sounds of music. His father for one was an active musician who introduced Dean to the wonderful world of music. Dean’s father Gus Vali was a well known accomplished musician who earned his Masters from the Manhattan School Of Music. Gus soon took Dean under his wing and would show him the ropes. His father would soon form a Greek band that would pave the way for many more to come. The Greek community at the time did not have a band solely dedicated to their ethnic music for their events. Gus Valli filled that void.

Bounce gave the perfect blend of Mediterranean charm to America’s favorite pastime at the wedding of Andonia Clathis and Groom Kevin Cokinos. For a wedding that pulled out all the stops, nothing less than a 13 piece band, featuring 4 vocalists, and a booming horn section, blew the roof of Minute Made Park, home of the MLB’s Houston Astros. Prior to the reception held in the restored Old Train Station attached to the park, the sexy strum of an authentic Greek Bouzouki poured out from the mezzanine overlooking left field, as 450 guests dined on hot dogs, cotton candy, and caviar!
